Best rear rim/tire for drag racing a c6-z51?
Running an A&A supercharger kit on a c6-z51.... Anyone have advice on better rims/tires for max track performance?

C6 of Year Finalist (performance mods) 2019
Most are using a 9.5 x 17 wheel with a 275/40 x 17 DR. Preferences seem to be for MT tires.

do a search on here for "tractionmonster" thread. he has details on how to have some 18" front c6 rims widened to 11". then you can mount 305/35/18 inch nitto drag radials. holds up to 720 RWHP. spinmonster is a very good resource for infomation if you will listen to him. i did this to mine and all i can say is HANG ON !!! not cheap, but after what you spent on supercharging, this is icing on the cake.........

or you can buy a set of 275/40 michey Thompson drag radials, on a set of 17 inch trans am wheels for under 400 bucks. it will make a HUGE difference. if you need more, then start looking for a wide wheel. like a old ZR1 wheel in an 11 (bunch of 98-02 camaro people have and sell them) then stick a fat 17 TM tire on there.
