I've not seen it happen but the domed logo is failing. The logo is separating from the bezel. You should be able to get that replaced under warranty.

I saw a member a few weeks back with this same problem. It happened to him after driving in hard rain for a extended period of time. I agree it should be an easy warranty replacement. If it isn't under warranty they are not hard to replace but they may be expensive.

Strange that rain would cause it. I hate going to the dealer and leaving the car there just for that, but its starting to bug me.

Not expensive and an easy fix to replace. Call Gene he has (or can get) the 2009 chrome trimmed emblems. A little heat from a hand held hair dryer and then a sawing motion using fishing line (dental floss is not strong enough) will work it loose enough to remove. Clean, prep (some 50% alcohol would be a good idea for adhesion) and reapply using the two holes as guides for proper placement of the new emblem.

The same thing happened to my 2008. The dealership replaced it under warranty. Tell your dealer to use string or dental floss to get under the double-side tape. A screwdriver that a typical mechanic would use to pry it up will screw up your bumper.

I've got the TX flag sticker covering mine so it could look like that for all I know.

Replaced under warranty without question. However, for those warranties that have expired eBay always has them available. Right now they are going for $30 to $60.
