Wheel Balancing Weights
While washing my car today, I discovered one of the wheel weights hanging on by a thread. Based on the amount of adhesive at this location, it appears there were at least two more at the same location.
Have any of you experienced the loss of factory installed wheel weights?

FWIW a road racers 'trick' is to tape your wheel weights. I use a small hammer to lightly tap the sharp edges and corners of the weights to smooth them down a bit. Then, I cut a small piece of silver HVAC (foil) tape and tape the weight to the wheel. The wheel weights generally stay put but the tape is a little added insurance. It might just prevent a problem on the track.
