I had a tiny chip in my windshield on the passenger side. I had someone fill and buff it but now from the inside I can see a line where it was buffed. It is very annoying because its in my field of vision. He stated he can't get that buff line out without making it worse. Any has anyone had any similar problems, or any suggestions? I live in northern Georgia.
If you have glass coverage might I suggest.... =new windshield!
That process as I understand it is a one shot deal. Either works good enough or it doesn't. If it really annoys you replace it because nothing else is going to satisfy you...
Get used to having lots of small chips in your C6 windshield. C6 windshields are very soft and chip extremely easily. I am on my fourth windshield from being pitted, chiped or broken. Call your insurance company and tell them the repair is unacceptable and you request a new windshield. You will have to pay the deductable of course but you will get a new windshield out of the deal too!!
I have owned my Vette for less than a year and have several small nicks in the windshield already. I agree with the others, get use to it or replace it.

Fact of life with the C5 & C6. Must be the low angle of the windshield. I have a 104,000 mile '97 Taurus winter beater and the windshield is in better shape than any of my Vettes were at one year old.
Having had many chip repairs on a number of cars since driving daily on I75, I think Cthusker has it right. Chip repairs never look good and will always draw your eyes to the defect.
