Not in manual but recommended by many, including other car companies:
Flush brake fluid every two years. Reduces chance of fluid boiling (total brake loss) under repeated hard braking, and also reduces chance of internal corrosion in brake system.

The wetter the climate, the more often you should change it. Some dealers like to charge about $170 for the maintenance 2 service (my GMC dealer). My Chevy dealer just the charge for the oil change (about $80). I asked the GMC dealer what do they do above the oil change/tire rotation and their 27 point inspection that is around $90 compared to the $170 charge. He couldn't give me an answer.I heard one dealer try to charge a C6 owner for tire rotation with the stock tires.
I've noticed that dealers are more eager to service your car now.
