Sometimes in life we have to take our ugly lumps and move on without letting it sour our minds.
...aaaaaaand what makes you the expert on exactly where we draw the line in every situation in life and just, "take our lumps"?

Allow me to simplify everything for you.

In our world there will always be idiots that do and say things on purpose to upset others. Some people, will just let these idiots walk all over them ALL the time. While others brush it off most of the time, but only to a degree, and at some point human nature takes over and they will react against the inconsiderate idiot.

The folks that stand by and let themselves be walked all over all the time will NEVER be able to convice those that do not, that we are wrong when we react.

As well, you can continue to preach and analyze the crap out of every situation, and try to justify your individual beliefs, but just know that you are not going to change the world, or ANY ONE PERSON'S actions for that matter.

However, if you get some kind of inner pesonal satisfaction out of voicing your opinion, then good for you.

To simplify even further...

Time spent reacting the way the idiot wanted me to (anger) after he intentianally parked so close to my car that he had to literally squeeze his body out.
20 Seconds

Time spent worrying that the other 4 people in the store might come out during the exact 5 seconds it took to pour coffee on the idiot's car and see me:
0 minutes

Time spent by the idiot to wash/rub all the baked in coffee off his piece of crap 1976 Chrysler:
30 minutes

Satisfaction I felt knowing that the idiot grumbled to himself in anger and second guessed his actions the entire 30 minutes he spent vehemently rubbing baked in coffee from the hood and windshield of his car:
PRICELESS

That is what I was told after a little old lady dented my 68 SS Chevelle while I was sitting in it. I just had the car repainted and paid for the panels to be straight (finish like a mirror) a few days before. she simple kicked the door open with her foot, not even holding the door. She was a real cute little old lady, but she denied that she dented and chipped the car.

Insurance companies wouldn't give me any satifaction, after all it was "just an old Chevy." I found a new insurance agent and company, but we have to remember that to many people these things just do not matter.

Relax, I'm sure he/she just wanted to park there to check it out without having to walk over to it. Take it as a compliment

I always park my car on an end spot close to the curb so that I have plenty of room. I had someone in a pickup park so close that I could not get in the car, I called to police and the towed the truck. I had 2 foot between me and the line but he parked over the line and 2 inches from my car. Curb on one side and the truck on the other. They fined and towed him for double parking. Hope he learned his lesson.

I read some of the "hate mail", where just about every a$$hole that got a notice, provides their lamea$$ excuse for why they "mis-parked" and then proceeds to call everyone a few choice cuss words. Funny stuff.

I'm sure he had no evil intent. He was just stopping, like you, to pick something up.

I just had to bring this thread back because of my experience at Wally World yesterday. As usual, I parked out from the crowd against the outer edge of the parking lot. Nobody within 3 spots of me in any direction. I'm walking away when a fairly nice Impala pulls up next to my passenger side. In his defense, he did seem to park on the far right side of the parking spot, giving me plenty of room. He very carefully got out of his car, closed the door and stared at my Vette for a minute or so. He then walked off. I started at him but just didn't know what to say so I took his license number down and went on my merry way.

I am surprised that some of you can even make it out of your driveways without paranoia setting it and crippling you. What do you do at red lights, 4 lane highways, on-coming traffic?
