This is a first for me as I'm not into any rougher ride than need be .. but I wouldn't want my F55 to ride any softer in Tour mode than it does now.
Some people might, but no way would I consider this a Issue needing Fixing.
I can tell the difference right away between Tour and Sport mode
The system knows if and how it's working. It will put a message on the DIC if it fails. It would be nice to have a dash lite or DIC message to show the current mode.
Dif,
Then the "fix" should have a multi-mode option selection like the ZR1,
eg Normal or XXXXXX.
I'm not familiar with the Multi-mode in the ZR1, thought they just had 2 settings like the base F55.
Do you mean you're looking for a bigger difference between the 2 modes ...
Like real soft and real hard ?

I think that's really something that should be on the system...

I just look down at the **** on the console; putting it on the DIC is redundent and another opportunity for something electronic to fail..
i have never had an issue and always drive in "tour". as for the "not telling the difference" between S and T, i don't get it. on smooth roads (what we have here for the most part) i can tell the second i switch. FWIW
I can feel the difference. We use Tour most of the time. I think the car rides great with exceptional control and comfort, right with our previous 5 series BMW which I thought was the greatest thing since sliced bread. (suspension wise )
No way would I want GM to change anything about the F55.
Usually use Tour, and can most definitely feel the difference with sport.
It would be really cool if GM took a play from the Ferrari handbook and offered other modes that included variation in transmission responsiveness and other details like an open or lower rpm opening on the dual mode exhaust with increases in suspension firmness.
I used to be able to tell the difference before but not anymore after I had dealership replace shifter and they checked the system to make sure they hooked it back up but I cannot tell difference now.
