Default C6 Lowering process

Just recieved my wheels for my C6 vette. 20x10 front and 20x13 rear. I basically did ZR1 front fenders, Z06 rear, Z06 front bumper, ZR1 Lip kit.

Now I'm thinking about lowering my Vette. I just bought Eibach lowering bolts and read a lot of vette guys are just using their stock bolts.

My car will be lowered and alligned on friday so i needed some input as fast as possible.

Please, if you have lowered your vette what did you use. Lowering bolts or stock bolts? how low did you go? If you have pictures of before and after that would be great.

instructions would be very helpful.....

I will be posting my before and after pictures soon. Thanks for all your help.

I too have 20x13" rear wheels with the wide body rear conversion. Too much of a gap between the top of the tire and the fender lip. Cranked the stock bolts all the way down but it only lowered the car about 3/4" so there is still a bit of a gap. I ended up buying a set of lowering bolts for the rear but haven't had a chance to install them yet.

Bought mine already lowered but will never lower another. Looks great but I drag on almost every speed bump! Mine was lowered almost 2".

I just finished installing the hardbar rear lower bolts. I love the look. I had it lowered on stock bolts but the front sat so much lower then the rear. Could be from all the extra engine weight? Now that I have the rear at the same level the car scraps a lot less.

Not a widebody, but lowered on stock bolts, with one rib cut out of the back bushings.

Ok so I guess I should lower my front all the way without cutting bushing and in the rear cut 1 layer and lower it all the way. Correct?

If you never want to return the car to stock then cutting the bushings is the way to go.
