I find it annoying that the inside rear view mirror shows so very little, but is so large it makes me duck my head, to peer under, at every right turn
So I'm considering putting a small camera on/in the rear of the XM Satellite wart, and displaying the image on the Nav screen. I currently have a camera on the rear plate, but the view is poor
If this works the next step is to remove the inside read view mirror, and use just the camera
If you put a back-up camera it should be with the rear-view mirror, not instead of it. Just my opinion. It is still useful. You may also want to put the back-up camera somewhere on the rear bumper.
If you have Nav in your car you can consider GM lockpick 360. I plan on installing that sometime before winter or more likely right after I hit a curb parking...
