Should I worry???

My reflex's are still good and I am positive I can pull a hole shot on him.

no, I would not worry one bit, unless he's got a 500+ c.i. replacement motor and a very stout driveline.
not at 4195 lbs.*

If he has gears, he will likely test you for sure. With stock gears, the 1/8 mile will cause him to not get into the power curve, I'm thinking.

You have the A6 advantage - consistency. Practice some starts - somewhere safe, before sunday.
from another thread I found
"I have a 09 A6, NPP, no mods, never ran 1/4 mi before so I just leave it in D mode, never do a burn out, car runs 12.45 114 MPH all day, every time out, once as the night got cooler it went 12.3,12.2 and one run @ 12.1, I must have 20 time slips all in the 12.40 to 12.49 range."
make sure your tires are warm and dry and have fun - I think it will be a close race.
Ok, that car HAS to have tires, it would be almost undriveable without drag radials at the very least, especially with 4.10 gears.
If he is a car guy, he's going to have a sticky tire on the back, and honestly, if it ran 11.2's, it's just a faster car.
If he spins his *** off, you'd have a chance in the 1/8th mile I guess.

So, just exactly how much HAS been done to this 4195 lb. car that makes it so fast? In fact, IS IT STILL a 4,195 lb. car? Which, if significantly lightened and modified can put down 11s and beat a stock, '08, 3,250 lb., automatic, convertible?
From the weights alone, what horsepower, rear gears, drivetrain, trans, tires--does it take for an almost 950 lb. weight disadvantage? I ask that question not even being close to knowing the answer.
If the '08 automatic is putting somewhere around 365 rwhp, (open to more numbers if this isn't correct) what does it take for 950 lbs. more of car to smoke him?
Any ideas?
