We have a Verizon chocolate LG Cell Phone. When we pair it to our 09 Vette, everything goes ok. I can call out and the wife can call me. If we let the car sit for a day or so, it loses the cell phone and can't be called or can't call out. Then you have to clear its little brain and start over and it will only work that day. Has anyone had this problem? Any help will be greatly appreciated. I talked to the local dealer and he doesn't know whats happening either. Guess it will be a trip to the dealer, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Thanks
Your description is confusing. I'm not sure if you can't call out or receive calls from the phone out of the car or what. Anyway, we had a bluetooth connect/disconnect problem with my wifes new Acadia. We couldn't figure out why the phone would ring in the house but nobody was on the phone and she couldn't call out. Found out the car wasn't releasing the phone after exit. Strangely the issue only lasted a week and hasn't occurred since.
On my old IPhone 3Gs I had an occasional problem with the phone simply not connecting...
Turned out that when I used my Window Valet to open the window I was close enough for the car to try to pair with the phone.. when the window valet shut down power, I was in the middle of the pairing process and the phone had to be shut down (turn off blue tooth then back on ) and it would connect.
Once I figured that out, I have had pretty much zero problems with my 09 and bluetoth. Just got a Droid X .. it takes longer to connect to the car but has only failed connection once.
When we first matched my Motorola Razor phone to our 2009, the Bluetooth worked fine for a week or two, then the car "forgot" my phone. I re-entered everything and it "forgot" once or twice after that, been fine since.

Go figure...
Wow! I thought I was the only one in the country that still had a Razor.
