Look for "Z51" on the white sticker in the glove box.

Z51 equipped cars have 13.5" cross drilled rotors.

So do 2008 and newer F55-equipped cars. And 2011 J55-equipped cars.

Z51s have a slightly manlier presence.

The glove box will show all option codes the car originally came with from the factory.

The easiest way is to look under & behind the front bumper, on the driver side.
There is an oil cooler mounted on brackets in front of the radiator.

Learn something new every day. Didn't know that was easier than looking in the glove box.

Um, I don't think I have a cooler located there. IS yours an A6? My M6 doesn't have that cooler.

Here is that area on my car and it may have a super charger coil there, it doesn't have an oil cooler.

I think the glove box is way easier!

Also, any of the Z51 features can be added by the owner except for the Z51 code on the glovebox sticker.

The oil cooler is installed only on the manual tranny cars.
We had a 2006 Z51 A6 and now a 2009 Z51 A6, no oil cooler on either one.

If I'm getting the OP's intent of the question, "is there a way to tell if a Vette is Z51 equipped by a casual glance of the exterior of the car"............nope (barring aftermarket badges).

Hey, I'm serious now! I was just under the car when the super charger coil was installed. There was NO oil cooler sitting separate from my radiator. I supplied a picture. I have the 2007 Z51 with the MZ6. No separate small cooler found. We did not remove ANY cooler for this install. I was given a bracket to use HAD WE HAD the cooler. Did GM short me a cooler!

I think the cooler is right there in the first picture...it's in front of the engine just ahead of the front crossmember....Yes?
