Much appreciated. A friend of mine is coming over Friday to have me do his dash. The "Bare Metal Foil" is a low tack metal tape that I have used for years on 1:24 scale car models (you can get it at a hobby shop for about $8). It looks really good, but it is not durable and can't be used for anything other than a dash... at least I haven't thought of anything else yet. The down side is that it takes a lot of patience to apply and make it look right... the up side is that if you end up changing your mind about it you can remove it in a few minutes.

Did another one last night. It might be hard to tell from the picture but the paint is silver. I'm pretty happy with the results. I want the paint to dry for 24 hours before I wash the back of the car (I can see the dirt in the picture)
