It's not the yellow so much as it's the Barry White playing on your stereo while you finish up your detailing.

I've noticed the same thing, lots of varied bugs love my yellow Vette, must be the yellow.

You have discovered the reason Ferarri calls their yellow paint color "Fly Yellow".

When I had a mazdaspeed protege a few years back in bright yellow i'd always have bugs of all sorts sitting on it. The best thing I saw was a group of three sparrows sitting together looking at my car...wonder what they were thinking?

Bugs love yellow....especially bees. You think it's bad owning a yellow vette, try owning a yellow motorcycle and stopping for gas - every bee in the neighborhood is there trying to get it on with your bike

When I had a Millennium Yellow C5 I would ALWAYS have bugs landing on it as if it were some sort of attraction. It never ceased to amaze me, but I got used to it. That color also seemed to be a cop magnet as well.

I have a spider about the size of a #2 pencil eraser that has been living on the back end outside of mine for months. I see him all the time when the car is parked in the home garage.

That's just low, but expected, since VY is much rarer than VR, jealously is like VR, standard, where VY is a $750 adder!

I have a honey bee that follows me where ever I go. I just consider him a travel companion now.

Funny story about bugs liking yellow. Visiting Disneyland back in the late fifties my parents bought me a yellow hat of some sort.....ya you guessed it I had bugs around me real bad. It was summer. My first hand lesson in bugs being attracted to yellow.

Well not that funny but the story does go back 50 yrs.!!

My son's Zinc Yellow Mustang GT parks in the garage next to my wife's black SRX and in the morning his will have a ton of bugs on it and hers has none. Same if he parks it on the driveway for the afternoon...there is something to the yellow attraction.

Yup. Shure do. particularly Honey Bees.

Think it's a polination thing.

When they fly off, I always ask " was it as much fun for you as it was for me"?

Now, do you still want your click back?
