Default Radiator help...replace with stock or?

Well I went to take my car for a spin today and noticed that it was dripping coolent from the front right. After a bit of looking I found that it was actually leaking where the fins meets the plastic coolent tank on the passenger side.

My question is this....do I replace it with a stock one, or should I upgrade while its out?

I have never had a cooling issue and live in the North East so it doesn't get crazy hot around here. I do run a procharger with 8-9 psi making about 600-640 depending on the dyno. Coolent temp is generally 192-198.

My only worry is that if I step up to a dewitts I'll run into a host of clearence issues due to its extra thinkness. Mostly where the fans mount. I think it will push them to close to the motor/blower.
Here's the one I'd use... http://www.dewitts.com/pages/product...asp?ProdID=380

What say you Corvetteforum?

I think if you can get extra cooling without going thru fitment problems go for it, but I would not go thru god knows what just for a little extra cooling.

Plus I think if it comes time to sell your car and it looks hacked it not worth it.

Dewitts are the best radiators. Call them and discuss your needs. Fitment should not be an issue.

As a rule, if I plan on keeping the car I always try to replace with better than OEM parts when they're needed. And concitering the extra hp your making I would with out a doubt go Dewitts.

A Dewitt rad is a lot more than a "little" extra cooling for starters... it doubles your cooling capacity. Stabilizes temps on the hottest days even when just idling. Fitment is perfect and not an issue... it's a direct replacement for you stock rad.

With my boosted LS2 it made all the difference in lowering temps both coolant and IAT's.. For around 600 bucks it's one of the best mods you can make even to a bone stock vette IMO!!
