Default Finally, A win!!

Team Corvette just got the win at the Petit LeMans, passing the #62 Risi Ferrari on the last lap. The Ferrari ran out of gas, but in reality, both Vettes were up front all day, running lap times equal to or better than the Ferraris, and in actuality the #4 Vette made 2 longer pit stops than the Ferrari did. The Ferrari was able to double-stint their Michelins for the entire race, while the Vettes weren't able to do so until the cooler evening temps. Great job in a tough season and a very tough class, Congrats Team Corvette! I plan on being at Sebring next March in the Corvette Corral again to cheer them on for the new season.

I probably won't be able to see them in Utah here again because the Corvette Corral drivers was almost the only ones there. The stands were practically empty. I heard it is a boring track to drive anyway.

Although, they won by a fluke mistake thats racing. Corvette Racing made an awesome effort...congratulations on the win!

That said I have some sympathy for Ferrari....imagine how they feel running out of gas in the lead with a half lap to go. Ferrari and all the competitors should be congratulated...a ten hour race is no easy feat.
