Corvette in the Drink
Watching Fox news and a report got my attention. A yellow Corvette vert in the Pacific Ocean surf! Its bobbing in the waves.

Not good. Years ago my friend parked his new Jeep on a beach in Mexico. He had a few beers and fell asleep. He awoke to see his antennae sticking out of the water and the waves lapping over the roof. I guess he forgot about high tide.

first he was "racing and lost control", then he was just doing "donuts in the sand", then it was "They drove straight in, nice and calm," according the the eyewitness (notice i left the random comma in that quote

Insurance? I seriously doubt that any rental insurance policy (or any other type of policy for that matter) would cover someone driving the car into the ocean.
