opinions about C6 FRC pic?

I did like the angle of the FRC on my C5Z, but the “chopped” ZR1… not so much.
I actually liked the roof profile of my ’73 Vert with the GM removable hardtop.
…as for the 2-tone C5. Sorry, no.

I've had 3 C5 "fixed-roof-Corvettes." They are beautiful to look at as well as a weight savings. That big hatch, (beautiful too), is heavy and it's of course why they came out with it. Your design has something about it though that is too abreviated. Doesn't look right. The idea of a fixed-roof is a good one though.

Like the hatch. Don't like the convertible with top up and that's why I won't own one. Convertible with top down is beautiful.
Trunk view ruins the sleek design lines.

I prefer the lines of the coupe...your 'vision' just looks awkward to me (the C5 doesn't much appeal to me either). I don't like the 'snubbed' lines of the fixed roof. While contrasting color accents can be appealing the dual colors in both your C6 vision and the C5 are too conflicting. Even with the ZR1 I never liked the dark roof. The exposed carbon fiber roof is tolerable with certain body colors (such as Cyber Gray) but with lighter body colors it looks out of place. I've never been a huge fan of exposed carbon fiber anyway. In both instances the differing colors don't seem to compliment one another...they conflict. With the dual colors of the C5 it's almost like you couldn't make up your mind which color car you wanted. The raised hood of the (hopefully supercharged) C5 combined with the radically up-swept angle of the wrap-around front splitter overly accentuates the drop nose front of the C5. The wrap-around, angled splitter may serve as functional aero canards but their angle gives the front end an 'odd' look.
Personal opinion aside, I give you an "A" for effort. The world would be pretty boring if we all liked the same things. If you like it go for it...vive la difference!
Why refrain? The forum is precisely the place where you should express your honest opinions. Besides, I think you tipped your hand anyway.

jbc, I think I like yours even better than mine! Can you do the roof in black? I think your photoshop skills are much better than mine. Can you do the car in silver with a black roof?

There was a father\son team in Eureka this year that created ZR1 vert replicas that looked really sharp. Not the greatest angles in the pictures to show them, but here they are.

From a side view the "bubble glass" draws the eye away from the car itself. The convertable roof line looks great from ALL angles. The current design reminds me of the Camaros of the 90's. For those who disagree with this post, look at the way most C6s are professionally photographed. Usually from a low angle ,3/4 rear or front view.My thoughts are this is done to reduce the expanse of the rear glass. With all the aftermarket hoods out there I believe a company would benefit by designing an alternative rear hatch/trunk design. Storage needs and high performance cars are an oxymoron IMO and reduced aerodynamics in a new design will only have meaning if you live above 150 mph.
To the Op, although I think your idea is it seems the glass area needs a little more rearward rake ( angle ) similar to the Vert's roof line.

I admit that my OP pic was a rough and kinda low time/effort attempt... and I also agree that just a little bit more rake would probably look better. Maybe not quite as much as the revised pic, or maybe with just with less glass, as quakejake points out.
I definitely think that GM should offer it with this option. It looks more like a racecar/sportscar and less like a Honda. I'm happy to sacrifice cargo space in a sportscar. I don't plan on taking it grocery shopping. I can fit one bag of golfclubs in it, and I only use one bag.
