Have fun, no real need for a buffer, but either way is fine, buffer or by hand, whatever you prefer. I've always done it by hand. I always polish the car during the week in the garage with the TV on watching baseball or whatever. It's always a nice way to spend a weeknight, TV, beer and polishing the C6...
