Just recently I have had to re-index the windows in my C6 if I don't drive it for 3 or 4 days. Is this an indication that the battery is getting weak or some other problem? It still retains my memory settings for seats, mirrors, etc. and the radio/clock are normal.
If it is the battery, what have people used to replace. I've had bad luck with AC Delco batteries in other cars in the past so I'd like to go with something different in it.
There could be a voltage issue. The fact that the other functions were not lost doesn't tell the total story. Have your battery tested for its capacity. If it checks good, could of been a glitch that may not be seen again. I have a tendency to replace parts with factory original.

My 08 coupe experienced the same symptoms.
So I had my battery checked.
It was corroded and leaking.
So I had it replaced with a new AC/Delco battery.
Everything runs fine now.
Thanks for the responses. I went and had my battery checked. The guy that did it said the cell looked good but it appears that it just needs a good charge. It was showing about 12.5 volts of charge. He told me to either hook it up to a charger or take for a good drive. I guess if the drive doesn't charge it successfully, I have a problem with the alternator. We shall see what happens.

Maybe, re prob. w. altern. Good long drive means 30-45 min. at 1500 rpm or more. Could also mean batt. is starting to go if it still happens after that charge. Then, you need to ck for other things as well.

Dude - get a battery tender and also a battery bug - it connects to your battery and shows you how much overall life and also charge is in it - works fantastic. When you get way low and batteries only last a few years on the Vette in FL - probably longer anywhere else but that has worked very well for me for years. The battery tender will help keep it charged when you don't use the car and its very delicate not to overcharge, blinks when at 80% then solid green at 100% and holds it there.
Hey! I just had this issue! It only gets worse and my problems got fixed with the AC Delco battery. We had a cheapo battery in it and nobody could figure out what the problem was... The battery showed a good charge but we did not know that the battery was just not capable of handling what the vette was throwing at it. My voltage operates anywhere between 13.5 to 14.2. When the voltage dropped below 12 the car was an electrical nightmare. Just from my experience and Sonny's, your best bet would be to go with the factory AC Delco...
To the OP, it sounds like you'll need a new car battery REAL soon. Shop around while you still can.
Might as well get new fob batteries, too. And do yourself a favor -- get a good battery tender/maintainer.
Also, make sure you know how to get into your C6 with a dead battery... some folks never try their key, then it doesn't work in an emergency. And some folks don't know about the glovebox slot.
