I went from the Goodrich KDW non-runflats to the Pilot Sport A/S Plus ZP myself, as I wanted to get back on a runflat tire. I drive my car almost daily so the A/S version was important to me. Overall, I absolutely love the tires. Ride quality is outstanding and handling while not quite as good as my KDW's seems quite good.

I plan to get the Michelin PS2 ZP for next summer, but don't expect them to be any better in cold weather than any other summer tire I've had. I keep a set of A/S runflats on a second set of wheels, for cold weather.
As for rain, that's mostly a matter of tread depth. We've worn out 3 sets of Z51 Supercar tires as a DD and road tripper, they seem to work about the same in rain as any other tire with similar tread depth. But they do get down to shallow tread depth sooner than many otheres.
