This is killing me. I can understand that some folks might not see the imperfection in the embroidery. (Looks ok to me - type comment.) What I can't understand is that so many folks can see the imperfection, yet they say it's ok and go ahead and install it.

It's clearly not ok. Accepting poor quality is a no no in my book. I don't believe this kind of thinking is good for anything. It's this type of thinking that encourages manufacturers/vendors to produce and sell sub standard stuff. Where did pride in craft go? The reality is that quality control is costly and can affect product profitability. But the consumers (like us Vette owners) deserve better.

Bottom line - I would send it back. Come on guys, don't accept this kind of sh_ _ !!! Now I've got to shut up before I get carried away and begin to offend.

You make a good point. Send it back but tell them where the imperfection is so they can take care not to send a third one that is crooked. Probably a whole lot that was done incorectly.

There is NO WAY I would accept this. It is not stitched straight and the chevrolet bow-tie is crooked.

it's definitly crooked! i had one of these console lids and it sure didn't look like that. send it back!

My eyes are saying that it is canted down on the right side by 1/16 th of and inch.
