I love mine and can't see any wear at all at 10,000 miles on them. Got them at Costco...when you add in the road hazard warranty, Costco was better than Tire Rack

Yes, had them on my C5. Now have them on my C6. Wouldn't leave home without them.

Our regional autocross champ made the same switch and said the ZP's actually handled better than the original PS2 non-runflat. I guess the technology really has been improving.

My C6 has only had the OEM Supercar runflats and Goodyear A/S runflats (same ride charactersitics); now the A/S ZP's which are definitely quieter and smoother. Not a huge difference, but noticable.

I have them and love them. Got caught in a huge rain storm on a 2,000+ mile road trip. No problems with hydroplaning.

Get 'em! You won't regret it one bit!

Had the first generation A/S's on my 99 Pewter. Will be installing the 'Plus's' on my 06 Z51 this summer.

Thanks everybody for your responses. I thought an A/S would be noisy and less responsive in turns but it seems that those who have them, love them. Maybe the technology has been advanced in this tire.

They look like they would be a help in rain even though I never intentionally drive the Vette in wet weather. Living in S. FL though, a monsoon can spring up out of nowhere. Snow, on the other hand, will not be something that this Vette will ever see.

A $350 savings over PS2 and a 45,000 mile warranty does perk up some interest. Think my mind is made up. I did want to stay with RF as already having had a nail puncture, I wouldn't want my wife, who does drive the car occasionally, to be caught on the side of the road.

I'm planning on going with them soon. I drive my 08 C6 in cold temps a lot and don't track it so they would work better than a max summer tire. Compared to other RF tires the price is decent also. It is so easy right now to break the rears loose on my car here in Utah, even on dry roads. I usually go with Discount Tire although I do price shop and they'll match the price. They also never charge me for repairs on any tires, even OEM ones. Probably because I bought about 1/2 dozen sets of tires thru them or more over the years.

A little math, if anyone cares:

If you pay approx $1,800 for a set of PS2 ZP's installed and get 18,000 miles from them, that 10 cents/mile in tire cost.

On a road trip if you can get 30 mpg at $3.00/gal for gas, that's also 10 cents/mile for gas.

If you pay approx $1,400 for a set of A/S ZP's and get 42,000 miles from them, that's 5 cents/mile tire cost.

Me, I've got the A/S for winter and touring, will buy PS2 in the Spring for fun on the twisties.

Love your math but your short changing the benefit. The discounted up front savings of $400 in your case would bring a nice return over the 6-7 yrs it would take me to deplete the tread. At, say a 6% compounded annual return using the rule of 72/2, you would have another $200 pretax.
