Yes, some jeans will bleed the blue dye. My wife had a pair that did this on the cashmere interior and her knee would rub on the door handle leaving blue dye marks. It came off with water or a interior cleaner. Since, she changed brand of jeans. Not a GM issue nor a big deal.

I guess some jeans transfer, some don't.

Been using the Zaino leather products for years now and it cleans right up.
Recently got a new black jeans jacket I hadn't washed yet. Zaino took care of that too. Not an issue for me.

Your jeans are transfering the dye to the seat. Other types of materials don't do this so it's definitely your jeans which have a dye that runs. If you wash them with whites I'll bet they would stain the whites. But I guess that too would be the fault of the whites so you would contact say Fruit of the Loom and tell them they have an issue becasue their white t-shirts sucked up the blue dye from your jeans.

I see now, sure it is GM's problem not your jeans...............

Really???????????????

I have had no blue jean transfer as OP describes, but I wear well worn rags! My cashmere seats will show normal soiling but I find they are easily cleaned.

Just clean what you have.

Based on my experience with the Cashmere interior in my 2006 Coupe.

With Levis, just a few washes greatly minimizes the problem.

Is it the dealer's fault because they didn't warn you that dyes in denim may transfer to leather seats? What does it matter how much the car cost?

i would just clean it and then take a bath towel folded in half and put that on the seat. no more transfer and when you're not wearing jeans you can put the towel behind the seat.
