I like the variety. Everyone seems to be doing the same thing Z06, grand sport, or zr1 look alikes, but this changes things up a bit.

I was concerned on the look on a vert, but looks great! Would love to start seeing in different colors on a vert. I did see the Atomic Orange coupe on the website. I liked it also.

Keep up the great work!

Thanks... I can't tell you how many people came up to me at the Barrett Jackson show last week in Scottsdale and said "you know... I normally don't like Corvettes, but..."

We are finishing a 2006 Twin Turbo Lemans Blue Convertible with the 1.5" quarters all around within the next couple of weeks... also a Cyber Grey 2009 ZR1 and a Cyber Gray 2009 Z06 (which is getting the wider rears, bright orange racing stripes / matching bright orange ZR1 Brake Calipers)

Keep the pics coming! Would consider this conversion, but not for now as the driveways and streets here in Charlotte would tear up that lip. I keep telling the wife we need to move back to W. Palm, just need to get my company to relocate me back there. I hate going out EVERY DRIVEWAY at a 45 degree angle!

We're looking into a air lift type of device that would lift the nose for this... Pratt & Miller uses something similar in their C6RS...

Super Bowl Sunday with a Supervettes bump!

Just love the kit! Hint though: Need a convertible in another color, preferably VR!

Most local customers that have come to us with a different color Vette, usually wind up falling in love with our Jet Black "Glass" paint job, and can't help but go with that...

However, we do have a Lemans Blue 2007 Twin Turbo Convertible being converted as we speak. Will post pics when she's all done!

If Im understanding your question correctly, your asking if our Extreme ZR6X front fenders, (which are 1.5" wider on each side), would look bad with the OEM Z06 rear fenders? If so, then yes, it will look terribly unbalanced IMO... as well, your track would be wider in the front then the rear... no good...

Their are certainly some in the Corvette community who believe more is better be it width of body, size of wheels, lowness to ground, fimness of ride, etc., etc.; kind of a cartoon of the real thing. To each his own.

Not for me. It kind of looks like a droopy eye or something.

I like it. It looks really aggressive!

I have a few questions.

...Could wider wheels/tires be put on so as to not use spacers and make tire wider.
...Is there any danger of the tire hitting the rear fender under extreme suspension movements?

One more...

Is this one of those modifications that looks better in person than in pictures? Some cars, like the new Nissan Maxima for example look much better to me in person than in pics. Just wondering if this doesn't photo as good as it "in persons"

Thanks,
TomZ

I could not remember why these flares looked familiar, thanks that is exactly what they look like and I used to drool over those vettes with the big fender flares.

Thanks. Yup, to me these look great but I also agree that not everyone would like them.

>> You can use 20x10.5" up front and 20x13" in the back with no issues at all. (just better grip / traction) Stock Z06 or ZR1 size wheels with 1.5" adapters sit exactly the same as the OEM wheels under the OEM fenders/quarters. (they will sit about 3/8-1/2" ticked inside the fender well) - we use 1.75" adapters for a more aggressive stance, and we keep enough space between the tire and the wheel well to avoid any rubbing issues.

If you choose to build a set of custom forged wheels, we can build then with low-to-negative offsets so no adapters are needed.

• 1PC Forged = no adapters
• 3PC Forged = no adapters (bigger lips... If a Z06/GS normally gets a 4" lip in the rear, you can now use a 5.5" lip / lower offset)
• 3PC Concave Forged = Adapters only in back to keep the "flush" look
• OEM / Reproductions / - uses adapters - 1.5" to 1.75" depending on taste...

>> ABSOLUTELY!! - there are a few forum members that got a chance to see it in person... It's a night and day difference. Think of it this way... In pictures, the C6 Base coupe and a Z06 / ZR1/ GS don't really look "that" much different, aside from the different vent variations... however, in person, it's a whole different car! On the highway... It's even more noticeable. 3" makes a huge difference!! -- ("that's what she said")

I would love to see that with some concave wheel built just for it.

They are not for everyone, no. I don't like them, but my partner loves them. Lol... it looks much better with the complete kit IMO also... I like the 1.5" all around...

The only reason it works is it's a vert. All the overkill won't work on the coupe!
