Default Event Code 4800 !!

Status 02/08/2011 - (4800) Your car is bayed and is waiting for transportation by Truck, Rail or transfer to vendor

Well finally After a deer whacked my '05 Vert pass fender last Dec the big decision was fix the car...get a new one...fix the car... well you know the rest. I decided I had to have a new CRM transparent roof 3LT MN6, and could not find one anywhere. So my friendly dealer made me an offer I COULD NOT refuse, said order it, will be here in a few weeks... not. I did not know about the planned Bowling Green holiday shutdown. Really no big deal since hardly any Vets going anywhere in Iowa with snow everywhere and temps around 0F. Checked status and got the message above looks like I'll be back a Vet fairly soon

Back in 08 when I bought mine, my "4800" date was also 2/8. The car was at the dealer in Miami by 2/13!

Post lots of pics when it arrives.

When my 08 coupe arrived in Dec. 07 my Chevy dealer shot some pics of it coming off the carrier.
They then e-mailed the photos to me before I got the happy call from the dealer that my car had arrived.

Maybe your dealer will do the same for you.
