Default Corvette weather out west

Had the Vette detailed last week to remove some old stubborn water spots topped off with Zaino for the finishing touch.

Then out to Cars And Coffee with the rest of the Vettes, it was in the 70's today.

It's finally going to be in the 50's this week...the Vette WILL at least see the driveway!! May not seem like much but it is only Feb. and in the midwest, 50s in Feb. is pretty balmy.

80 yesterday! Going to 80 today. Will have rain by Weds. BTW it will be 75 in San Diego in August with 30% humidity.

1000 degrees in orange county? fraid not, some of the best year round weather in the country there. orange county may have other issues like traffic problems, but weather, hmmm almost perfect!

Your car is looking good! That's an impressive turnout for your coffee klatsch....lots of Vettes.

Don't be...the weather out west isn't always the paradise you think it is. Hell, yesterday it was a miserable 80 degrees with blue skies. We get so much nice winter weather I look forward to (and enjoy) what little lousy, cold, rainy weather we do get (so long as it doesn't screw up my weekends at the track). Hell, I'm probably jealous of your weather in the summer.

Default West is the King of weather

I moved to Phoenix to get away from the weather in Philly/Baltimore/D.C. area and I couldn't be happier. Even in the summer with high temps, it's better than having your car imprisoned for five months a year because of snow, sleet, hurricanes, traffic, pollution, vandalism, yada yada yada. Give me the sun, some wide-open road, cruisin' music and no-strings company and I'm down for drivin

While I do like Phoenix certain times of the year, I have to admit that intense sun does get to my bald head. San Diego is a bit more friendly to my pain threshold
