Hey 427 , I am glad to hear that at least you didn't eat the whole 2 grand . Sounds like the dealer did the right thing . Oh well at least the car is right now .

Yep, I guess there are still some good dealers out there. Mine has a Corvette tech, who only does Corvette's, including oil changes. And yep, the car is all good now. I keep my clutch fluid sparkling clean, and got a new clutch out of it. They said the pressure plate was over extended causing the slave cylinder to fail? So when they ordered the parts, it came with a new disc.

Hello Everyone,
I am glad I was able to help some of you on the forum. Unfortunately, I will be parting my ways with the company. It was great to be part of the forum.
Temporarily, Jeff Morris will be taking over. Please direct questions and comments to Jeff and I am sure he will be able to help you.

Thank you Deb! Decided I would create my own account and drop in. I am thinking about getting back into the sales end of things. Seems there are not a lot of good dealerships out there and maybe I can help more on that end!

Hey Geoff , good luck to you . I hope everything works out . BTW , got the slave and checked the fluid last nite and there it was full to the top . I am so happy my problem got resolved and I think you were a large part of me getting what I needed . I hope the person who takes over for you is as good of a guy as you are . Thanks again , Chris

Hey Geoff, glad you are back You KNOW who is at the top of my BAD Dealership list! Monitoring the service departments would be a plus, however the sales and general management oat many places astounds me. The good dealerships seem rare. Having you someplace would be an asset to them. Best of luck to you in your next endeavor and I will see you on FB
