I ordered a 2011 Grand Sport for Bill Stasek Chevrolet in Wheeling, Il. What a great experience so far.
I ordered
2LT
Velocity yellow
M6
F55
H35
NPP
PYD
I was told by my salesman, Bob Clegg that target production is either the week starting Mar 20 or 27. Great salesman as well. I recommend if you are looking in the area to come see him.

Congrats During the wait, you can decide on which accessories you "Must Have" for the car. When I was into motorcycles I called it Safety Chrome. Best wishes.

Thanks, Im not really planning on doing any mods. I will consider putting the new Michelin pilot super sports on it when the time comes.

I am a huge fan of Corvette racing so i went with that look.
You are dealing with what I believe to be a large Vette dealer so you probably won't encounter the problem that I had on my CTS that I ordered buy never got.
So just a heads-up so you don't get jerked around....
The dealer that I ordered the car from wouldn't give me the GM order number or any of the GM order processing codes. In the end, what appeared to have happened is that the dealer did not have enough allocation to allow GM to process my order so it sat in GM's "order received" status...can't remember the number. My salesman wasn't co-operative and the order processor was even worse. It was getting to the point that I may have ended up taking delivery of a new 2009 car when the 2010's were close to going into production. Other guys who had ordered cars from dealers in other cities told me that their salesman gave them the GM code each time GM changed the order status. It wasn't a great experience for me or the owner of the dealership.
Check the Bowling Green work weeks so you know what's going on there. The last I heard they were working sporadically. There is a thread going on here on that.

What you have bought is worth waiting for.
Thank you for the advice. Stasek is the largest Corvette dealer in Illinois. I went in to the dealer again today and my salesman said he would have the order number by Thursday since this weekend was considered a holiday. He said they have 2 allocations that can be used. I guess my question is that while I traded in my car, my wife and I did not actually sign for anything other than the trade. We were told all the paperwork would be completed at delivery. Is that the usual?
