build time

So, the total wait will vary considerably from one dealer to another.
I ordered it on January 27th. My origianl TPW (build week) was Feb. 21st-27th. It was then pushed back to March 22nd-28th, then moved forward to this week. I was really hoping my car would already be built by now on Monday or Tuesday, but again it's a TPW Target Production Week, not a TPD (Day) so I have to be content that it will be built this week, hopefully as I am writing this.
After the build is done, it's still a 21 day wait for the car to arrive in Seattle. I am tracking it on: www.cadillacconnects.com
They will track any GM car, but I think there are better sites for tracking a Corvette.
Just make sure you get your order number from the dealer. With Cadillacs, they can only track it until it's built.
With Chevrolets, they can track it all the way to your dealers door.
Good luck with your car!
My dealership is a medium sized dealership and getting an allocation was a factor as well as a number of Bowling Green plant shut-downs because of low demand.
The wait was well worth it however, what a thrill, especially having experienced the "Buyers Tour." I was able to get the original 11" x 17" composite built sheet as well as all of the various assembly station built sheets.
The workmanship and quality of the build of my GS is absolutely stunning.
My GS arrived at the dealership in a snow storm, however it was shipped in an enclosed transport from Bowling Green. I had my GS delivered to my residence in a covered trailer and I stored it in my garage until my first cruise in April 2010.
Seven (7) months elapsed from order entry until my first drive.
