Default Need some 18" wheel options

I'm kicking around the idea of switching to 18s out back. I'm not looking to spend custom wheel money but I'd be willing to switch to a different style replica wheel if they'll fit correctly.

I've been looking at most of the replica options and I haven't really seen anything that will allow me to run a 305 drag radial out back. It looks like the the standard C5 rear wheels (18x9.5 50-something offset) will FIT reasonably well, but I don't want to stuff that wide a tire onto a 9.5" wheel.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Get another set of front wheels and have them widened. If you search for a thread call tractionmonster the results are in there.

I have that setup for sale actually:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-p...ter-setup.html

I also have a set of matching wheels w/ normal tires:

I ran the full set w/ normal tires, then just rotated the rear wheels off and on as I wanted.

I think i'm going to go that route except with my Z06Ms....I have a curbed front anyway, so I figure I'll pick up a new pair of fronts to swap on, and send the existing ones to weldcraft to repair the one and then widen them.

I do have a question though....You and Spinmonster both widened all the way to 11". Is that really necessary for a 305? I would think a 10 or 10.5" wheel would be plenty for that tire.

I think you could even fit the 345 on the 11" if you really wanted to. I'm pretty happy with the way the 305 sits on the 11".

tempting...I can't imagine that would have any hope of fitting in the wheel well though.
