I'm kicking around the idea of switching to 18s out back. I'm not looking to spend custom wheel money but I'd be willing to switch to a different style replica wheel if they'll fit correctly.
I've been looking at most of the replica options and I haven't really seen anything that will allow me to run a 305 drag radial out back. It looks like the the standard C5 rear wheels (18x9.5 50-something offset) will FIT reasonably well, but I don't want to stuff that wide a tire onto a 9.5" wheel.
I ran the full set w/ normal tires, then just rotated the rear wheels off and on as I wanted.
I think i'm going to go that route except with my Z06Ms....I have a curbed front anyway, so I figure I'll pick up a new pair of fronts to swap on, and send the existing ones to weldcraft to repair the one and then widen them.
I do have a question though....You and Spinmonster both widened all the way to 11". Is that really necessary for a 305? I would think a 10 or 10.5" wheel would be plenty for that tire.

I think you could even fit the 345 on the 11" if you really wanted to. I'm pretty happy with the way the 305 sits on the 11".
