I test drove a 2008 C6 the other day, and put it into performance mode,"it was great the owner did not know about it" anyway it seems the skip shift was disabled in that mode. Is this done from the factory, or can tuners do it?
Not that I'm aware of. Of course, if you're doing any sort of 'performance' driving the skip-shift feature shouldn't come into play anyway. Everyone has their own style of driving but IMO even with normal driving the skip-shift feature will hardly ever engage. There are relatively simple ways to eliminate skip-shift. I defeated the skip-shift via tuning when I replaced the OEM engine.

No Idea what performance mode is. Pretty sure there is no such thing. I guess I put my car in "performance mode" when I push the skinny pedal the to mat.
