Default Flash 2 pass?

Has anyone installed one in their vette? What are your opinions of it? I don't have the Homelink and was thinking about purchasing this for my vette and my Yamaha R1.

If that works as advertised that will beat the leer thing installed by chevy in the newer C6's. The leers only work with a handful of garage doors without an add-on device. I wish chevy would go back to HomeLink.

I hope someone here has tried this I am interested inhering how it works.

I have used it on my Victory motorcycle for six years. AWESOME! I just flip my high beams and - presto - garage is opened. If I didn't have Homelink I would be all over it.

this is the feedback I was looking for. I think I'll give it a try since its easier and cheaper than buying/installing a Homelink system.

I had this on my bike also, and loved it. I now have homelink on the vette.

I have it on my Vette. Works great. Why pay 200+ for a homelink visor when around 70 gets you the transmitter and reciever. Planning to put it on my Mustang.

I've got the built-in Homelink but I don't feel using a hand held remote control (to open/close the garage door) is a major inconvenience. It does sound like a neat device though. I can really see the benefit with a motorcycle. Let us know how it works for you.

I'm lazy and cheap, for our C5 I simply Velcro'd the original transmitter onto the bottom of the steering column. Easy to find by feel, range was better than the Homelink unit on our 2009. Looks like same thing would work on a C6.

OoooOOooo... I gotta check out the bottom of my '05's column. See if I can move the transmitter there.

Nice idea! One thing I must say that I don't like about it is that if you ever sold your car you would have to demod it I hate the lear2u system but you can also buy a transmitter that makes it work also. Homelink works perfect on my garage.

Why not buy a key FOB from Home Depot that has three buttons and costs less than $20. I have one made by Chamberlain and it works great with out having to do anything more then pressing the button on the FOB to open the garage door after you press the learn button on the opener.
