I just bought a GM Gas Flashpac Tuner for my C6. What kind of gains can I expect or in general what can I expect? I have two drop in K&N air filters already.

Welcome Ronald. Probably not much. More hype than reality. This forum is a wealth of information. Spend some time doing searches and reading.

Depending on whether you want to keep your GM warranty or void it, there are a lot of solid gains to be had from some mods and there is also a lot of money you can waste follow the claims made by some product marketing.

The drop in K&N filters won't really do a thing. To really benefit from the tune HP wise you would need a few mods, Headers, exhaust, CAI and a tune will give you some good gains.

the next idea i have in mind is exhaust. but i dont know the better quality exhaust out there. I have been informed to get stainless steel , and the dealer offers an X-pipe to replace the factory H-pipe which states its high flow and better exhaust sound. the cold air intake i looked into was K&N but you only gain 10hp for that. If there are any better CAI out there please let me know and exhaust like i mentioned above.

Honestly, you are throwing more money
into a huge hole, with very small gains.

I suggest you get your money back for
the handheld TUNER and get a real tune.

I strongly suggest "Chuck Cow". you have
already spent 1/2 what his price is and you
still want to continue down your handheld
tuner path and throw more $$$ down the drain,
with no REAL gains, that is absurd....just trying
to be honest with you.

K&N, Hand held Tuners, Turbonators,
exhaust extractors, racing spark plugs..............
are all expensive SNAKE OIL. Save your
money, ask some advice and start over.

First let me say that I dont know everything and dont claim to know everything. I and second you dont know what dollar amount I have spent, so how can you assume anything. Advice. I asked advice and I got some advice, give me some stats on your suggestion and I can go from there. I have used K and N air filters and I like them based on use in previous cars. The only other thing I mentioned was a tuner and only you have a negative comment.Interesting.

When you ask for advice don't whine about the kind you get...just saying...

Someone with knowledge can tune your car and pick up 8 to 15 rwhp with a custom tune. I got 12 and 10 with my LS2 in a GTO.

A handheld tuner can say anything lol....you'll never know.

as for the filter....
