i just came from a GMT900 silverado... so the storage was copious.
anyone doing anytjing like a canvas bag secured down to the floor in the back? im trying to come up with something that would be accessable from the driver seat (so probably located behind the passenger).
anyone have ideas or what are yall doing for storage? i need at least a place to put flashlight and a couple glasses cases.
GM and Mid America sell pouches that hang behind the seats. I can reach most objects in the pouch behind the passenger seat, my wife can reach the stuff behind mine.
Rather pricey, but very useful.
Last time i looked, the GM version were only black, the Mid America ones came in colors but have a top flap that would be in the way.
I have a home made divider that my JL Audio 250w sub sits in one compartment behind the driver seat, a middle compartment that my safe sits in, and a compartment behind the passenger seat that holds miscellaneous items (it has a small tray in it for small items and a larger tray for larger items. Very neatly done and doesn't take up the whole back of the car. If you want pics, I can send some to you.
We sell the Corvette Cargo tray and Corvette Pouches that fit right behind the seats. The cargo tray is a very nice piece that sits over the hump on a coupe. Send us a PM if your interested.
This just came up a few days ago. Do a search for more info and recommendations on alternative storage options.
Repeating my response from a few days ago... My solution. Less than ten bucks. On long road trip it fits nicely next to a small cooler with bottled water. The roll of toilet paper and Kleenex were options.
If I show the Vette, I pull it out of the trunk, turn it upside down, and use it as an end table for my collapsible chairs.
Okay, I'm half joking! Several good options. Do a search.
I have the vettebin and partition combo from Madvette Motorsports. It has two locking compartments reachable from the seats; one with an auxiliary power connenction. Looks factory OEM and you can still store your top in back even with the partition installed. You can check out photos on their website: www.madvettemotorsports.com. Best mod I've done.
