Reminds me of what Ford used to do with Mustang. Take a stock car, add a bunch of stickers, give it a new name and charge alot more for it.
To each their own but

Actually there were 53 coupes. A total of 125 the 53 mention, 17 convertibles and 5 Z06's. They came with special ebony leather-wrapped interiors with yellow stitching and GT1 & Jake Logo's.
To some out there they will simply see a car with stickers and a different interior.
To those that follow Corvette Racing understand what the car represents. Not many out there along with the special edition 2007 Ron Fellows edition Z06 they all may bring good money down the road.

So what if it is "just decals"?
LOTS of mods we make to our cars don't add a single HP or a tenth of a G, but are just made because we like the look.
OP bought a beautiful low-number factory commemorative edition that has a cosmetic package (and never claims anything more).
How many of you have *never* made a cosmetic mod? (did you add chrome? color leather? stripes? changed paint? CF wrap?)
