Not that it matters to me since I won't be trading in - but is there any word why GM deleted 41U (black exterior color?) It's a pretty popular choice so this seems a bit odd.
The technology package for the 2LT and the suede inserts are pretty nice additions!

I'm guessing that they see no need for both Carbon Flash Metallic and Black. Who knows if they are right

So that can't be the reason... Maybe its related to the paint supply from Japan??

I see your point, but maybe, maybe not. It just means if you want metallic black you have to get the black wheels, the red calipers, F55 and whatever else is on the Centennial SE. You can get ZLC on any car, I believe. Probably a bad move, I'm sure lots of people want plain black on base suspension car, but who has a better explanation?

If you want black you will have to get the Centennial option, for whatever additional $ that option will ultimately cost. Kind of like requiring a GS to get what was the old Z51 option. Black was popular before, so if a variation of it will be the only option available to the buyer and some more $ can be had by requiring the whole package be purchased as well...sounds like a marketing idea. If there are supply issues with the metallic black due to the Japan disaster that whole deal could backfire huge for GM. There will probably be a lot of the lame Carlisle Blue available. A nice gesture for the show, but a poor choice of color. I'd rather have seen a "Bloomington Gold", reminiscent of the '69 Riverside Gold.

New STEERING WHEEL lets see a picture of one!

Corvette should have it's own distinctive steering wheel. I hate it when I walk by a Cobalt or Malibu and see my steering wheel in them.
so the 76 vette was OK then being was used in other models
like the carmo and our favorite the Vega gt
