There have been a number of posts relating to receipt of the "Corvette Drivers Handbook", i.e some new Corvette owners of the 2010-2011 models receive it, others don't.
Most recently I have been informed the "Corvette Drivers Handbook" is sent to those purchasing new 2010 - 2011 Z06 and/or ZR1 Corvettes exclusively..............
Please advise as to your understanding of receipt of the "Corvette Drivers Handbook.
I purchased a '11 GS in february. Got my drivers handbook 1 month later. I have seen many posters report a similar amount of time. You could call the museum and ask about it, if you don't get one.

I can tell ya this....there is the handbook you refer to AND there is album which is covered in leather w/a chrome Corvette emblem on the cover which details Corvettes history from 1951.....(I know, first built in '53)...I was one of those in recpt of BOTH.
I can tell ya I bought two New Vettes year over year. 2009/2010....and yes, one IS a 'Z model.....the collectors album has over 320 pages in fine/gloss paper w/over 300 photographs (from GM archives).....It included a letter thanking me for being a repeat Corvette Customer from T. Jeuecter.....signed by him.
I read your post again, and it triggered a thought. I think what you have been hearing about the ZR1 and Z06 purchasers receiving something exclusively, is actually a Corvette history book, aside from the drivers handbook.I think this may be what you have read about. Hope this helps.
All you guys who bought new Vettes recently should recieve the handbook. If you do not, I have read if ya call GM customer assistance and give them your VIN and purchase date they WILL send you one....
The collectors album I reffered to, I was VERY surprised to say the least.....it IS nice.....but I did buy TWO new Vettes with the last being a 'Z model is why I'm supposing I recd it. The letter thanked me for being a "repeat" Corvette buyer. It even has a chrome Vette emblem on the cover.....very nice indeed....It's large.....not something you would just pick up and read (although I have). It's meant for the coffe table or something....(dunno-I'm single)....
I have NOT come accross anything like it. It appears as it's limited....that's all I know about it.

I bought my 2010 GS in December 2010, got the hand book around Feb-Mar 2011 time frame.
In my opinion, I thought it was worthless. I could have found all that information on the internet if I looked hard enough.
Just a bunch of descriptions and maps to some favorite Corvette destinations. Brief description on the differences between generation models, pictures of current accessories, apparels, etc..
I thumbed through it and put it away.
It would have been nice to have recieved a coffee mug or something that I could have used.

I know I am going to get crucified....
Not by me....each is entitled to his opinion. I did not find alot of use for the handbook myself. The album is the keeper.
