I'd say that is unacceptable. If a vendor sold you those new saying they'd fit properly they should know better. What is the backspacing? That's something you can easily measure yourself (with a straight edge centered, laid on the edge of the rim measuring down to the hub mounting surface). See the Technical page on the CCW website, you can convert the backspacing measurement into an offset number. You can use an 11" rear rim (with the proper offset) with a Z06 rear 325 tire and it barely protrudes at all. Your tires stickout quite-a-bit. I hope they'll take them back at this point but I wouldn't feel bad about returning them. Good luck!

Does anyone know if it is illegal to have the wheels stick out like that in PA? I just got new wheels and have the same problem. I was going to try and return them. The shop I got the wheels from should have told me they where going to be sticking out like that. If they did, i never would have bought them.

Did they advertise they fit the C6? Then it could be construed as incorrectly advertising.
