Push brake pedal get a click sound?

So, is the fuse panel on the side kick panel or is it more toward the firewall under the carpet? More than likely it will be obvious when I start pulling back the carpeting.
Thanks in adavance!!

If you were sitting in the passenger seat stretched out with your feet against the furthest portion of the foot well (not flat on the floor, but up against the furthest mat that goes up under the glove compartment) the fuse panel is right below your feet.
It is not behind any plastic panels.
Simply pull up the floor mat at the top edge (not the hook edge closest to seat) and flip the floor mat up and lay it over the seat. (No need to unhook the fasteners) using a flashlight, follow the carpeting up under the dash. You will see where it ends, exposing a small percentage of the fuse panel. Slowly pull that back towards you revealing the entire fuse panel.
Keep in mind, this is on a 2013 Z. I am not sure if all C6 models have fuse panel is same location. But, it was too easy to locate and expose. 20-30 seconds. That's taking your time too.

Ah, ha! Thanks! I was thinking it was on the SIDE.
I've got a 2013 Grand Sport. Probably in the same spot, but we shall see.
The next thing is verifying what part number has the 5 prong. Also, by substituting the relay with the 5 prong, does it cause any other issues. For example, does the cruise control still turn off when you depress the brake pedal? Does the ABS still function? Do the brake lights still work? You know, any crazy stuff like that when it is switched over to the 5 prong relay?

Speak with a GM tech at your local Dealership or, go ahead and order up the new Part Number and test these concerns. Considering GM TSB shows a new part number, I am sure it would all work out positively.
Remember, the new Part Number is 15328865.

Mine is part number 12193602 which according to the TSB is the wrong part number. Not sure if I am supposed to have 12193606 or the new one though. My vette is an 08, is the new one for 2012 and newer vettes or all C6s?
Also I couldn't tell if the relay is four or five prong since I am not sure how to remove it. Is there a screw holding in?

The new replacement part number, from my understanding, is:
GM Part #15328865
MCC978, as mentioned...Just use your fingers and pull it straight out. No screws, no clips. It sits in like a fuse...albeit a big one. make sure you make note of how it is seated in the fuse panel. Take a photo if that will help seat it back correctly.

Thanks guys I was able to pull the relay and it does have 5 prongs but I do get the clicking when I press the brake. Putting it back in wasn't an issue at all. When I first tried to pull it out it wouldn't come out so I thought something must be holding in. This time I just gripped it harder and pulled it straight out as you suggested. Don't know why it clicks since the relay has 5 prongs.

You have an old part number. Even though it is 5 prongs, your Stop Lamp Relay has a new part number. This is why I am hoping someone can chime in who has a new part number, if it is 4 or 5 prongs, and if that new part number made a difference.

I suspect that with a lot of cars these relays are located in a fuse block under the hood making them hard to hear. Of course putting a fuse block under the hood exposes electrical parts to the weather which isn't always a good thing.
