Express-Up Window?

I know that our Vette's don't have this feature, but it feels like on the drivers side only, that there is a second 'detent' as you pull up on the window switch that feels just like the "express up" feature that many new cars have today.
I was wondering really if I got a goofy switch, or do others have this second detent on their switches. It's not there on the pass. side switch, or even on the pass. window switch on the drivers door, just the driver's window switch... that's what really got me thinking, why that one switch and not the others?
Also **** Jockey, I was thinking the same thing about the window indexing, but I can't imagine it's all that difficult to add express-up when so many other cars have it, and the mechanism is probably already there anyway.
Hey, don't some Caddy's have window indexing just like the Vette? Don't they also have express-up?

"Folks,
An anti-trap mechanism is required for express-up option. Many cars that have this feature run a membrane (sensor) across top edge of the window frame; meaning if something get stuck between the window and the frame while winding up, the window motor immediately reverses a bit and stops. Having express-up feature on a Corvette with targa top makes things complicated..."

Someone made the comparison between the vette's technology being stuck in the 70s. Perhaps a tad bit of an exaggoration?

My XLR-V has express down and up and I've never had a problem.
The C6 is simply behind the times in any creature comforts. People who say otherwise who want to claim it's because it's a sports car are simply making excuses.
My 65 has both express up and express down, I just have to turn the crank really fast.
