I agree same in VA, $91.50 donation required if you want to run without the front plate.
Besides, I've been told the center mount Top Flight actually produces vortices similar to aircraft wing tip vortices that are rammed into the front grill feeding ram cold air to the naturally aspirated LS motor...

I installed mine last week and drove recently after dark. These lights are the best exterior mod you can make. Really lights up the road and sides with the whiter light. Did not get any High beams back so they do not appear to affect oncoming traffic.

Great mod!

Are these available for the C5?

I don't use my fogs either but when I install these I am going to use them every time my headlights come on. I love the look. Those fugly yellow fogs are nothin nice. I am embarrassed by them actually.

Post your pics if you can! We'd love to show potential customers the difference from other views.

I had HID lamps installed on my C5 and I only used the fog lamps when driving at night as they are much more brighter and whiter light than my standard headlamps. One thing too is the C5 has a different style of fog lamp than what the C6 has, but from the pictures it will make a big improvement, plus from some of the pictures I have seen it will make them much more usable. As most of the time you cannot even tell they are on in a C6.

I did have to adjust the fogs on C5 to aim them, but never had a issue with people flashing their lights or anything for that matter.

I would have to agree that it a great mod for the price and for what you get in exchange for the install.

I've had a set for over a year, and haven't installed them yet. Was under the impression that I needed to remove the front tires to get to them, but now I'm hearing otherwise, so it looks like I'll be getting them installed very soon.

Will take pics as I go.

And I use my fogs every time I drive at night..(daily driver).....yes, the stock ones!! I want to be seen!!
