The easiest, most cost effective way for me was to have the local pro do it!No fuss,no muss and they look great!
Guys, it isn't dish soap, it is baby shampoo, the same products that doesn't urt eyes is needed here. Check out the install instructions on vettestripes, you will see what Mike suggests.
and you have lots of time, 10-20 minutes, just keep everything wet.
I had a local place do mine, they aren't positioned as good as I had hoped but passable for now. Local place said his machine can make the stripes with the boarder integrated not separate like vette stripes; however, he commented the material was high quality that Mike uses. The guy made it look easy, that outline stripe didn't look like fun to me. I have gotten a lot of compliments since I had them put on the car.
GM is smoking crack if they think I am goinig to pay $400 for some decals. Mike's are of high quality and are spot on to the factory minus the little bow tie which I can do without. Very happy with his patience trying to get the color as close as possilbe to factory and he shipped promptly, I recommend him highly.
