How cool is that? What an awesome experience to be there...especially with Corvette's come from behind win. The 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Grand Prix of Monaco are the races I'd most like to see. Wow, France...the 24 Hours of Le Mans... hell, I drove to Phoenix yesterday.

Great pics...post more when you can.

Amazing opportunity! I had a similar where I won a photo contest through Yamaha to MotoGP at Laguna Seca. Tickets, pit passes, tickets to dinner with the team, parade lap, ect...

Great job, man! Nice to see the sweet rewards after the hard work is put in. Love that video of the pit stop: that car just pops up, and then when they're down pops down so quick!

Congrats on the trip! Personally, I can't wait to get out there someday. Who put France so far away from Phoenix?

Our COO Darren Law was part of the 3 driver team driving the No. 81 Porsche 911 GT3 RSR in the LM GTE Am class. They led for 5 hours at one point, even up to a lap ahead of the next closest, then had to retire with an engine computer issue a little into the 19th hour.

Obviously Bob had our best experience and would be happy to tell you all about it in person, but four of out past instructors have raced in LeMans, not including Darren.

Here's the link to the longer story on them from this weekend:

Again, glad you had a great time and come visit us at the school!

I don't believe my feet hit the ground the entire time I was at the race. I will do my best to post other pics and video's. Spent much time with all 6 drivers, the team MGR and Ron Fellows. Have a great video of Ron Fellows explaining to my wife the leader board and what all the numbers etc mean. I have raced at his track a few times and never ran into him so it was great to spend time/talk with him. I had him sign my ticket along with the lead driver of car #73.

I have been to your school I believe twice. Both times for Chevrolet testing the C6's and Z06's before they were announced. Great place and training. Got to speak with Bob Bondurant several times in between his Segway rides and also petted his dog.

That must have been quite a thrill for the dog.

Just kidding you, Mike. Congratulations on winning your sales contest. There must be many of us who are jealous of your opportunity to attend this event -- especially on the occasion of the Corvette winning the two classes in which it was entered. I watched quite a bit of it on television, but there could be no substitute for being there.
