Default Ready for Spring Mountain

I'm ready to go now. I got my Piloti's shoes in the mail today. MAN! They fit like a glove. I might get used to wearing these things every day. I'd better test them out on the heel-toe as I'm a tad rusty on that. I hope these help.

I've had my Piloti's for 5 years and I love them. Driving without them just doesn't feel right. Enjoy Spring Mountain. Wish I was going again.

Good on you for going to Spring Mountain! You might have so much fun you'll want to put your Spring Mountain experience and your new 'racing' shoes to good use after you come home. Apply and refine what you learned at Spring Mountain on a track in your own car. The sport can be addictive...you'll have a blast!

Enjoy your school at Spring Mountain. It is really a blast being able to thrash someone else's Vette for several days.

If it's the same as when I went, you will spend 45 minutes up and down the straightaway, heel & toeing under the wtachful eyes of the instructors.

You will Love Spring Mountain: the team there does an outstanding job no matter your skill level! The Driving School Director, Rick Malone, runs the best program maximizing your on track time and the fun!

Also, I recommend staying at their condo's...they are quite nice and very comfortable!

it never hurts to start practicing before you come join us, you'll hit the ground running so it makes the fine details much easier to work on
and when you choose to come back to our level 2, it gets even better and easier to take the corners faster!

We do not go till almost two weeks after you (29-31). You will also have to report back in on how your experience is. I am already counting down the days till we go.

I just got back!
Spring Mountain and Rick Malone will change your life. What a great experience. Rick is Spring Mountain. He will make you completely welcome while teaching you to really know the Corvette. I think every Corvette owner owes it to his car to take this course!
If the condos are not available, try the Best Western Motel in Pahrump specially if you have your vette with you. I much preferred it over the recommended Pahrump Nugget.I stayed in room 120 which was in a back corner with three parking spaces in front of the room which is a mini-suite. I was able to back right up to my door. The place is owned by a former Nascar driver, Wulfy, and is a very pleasant well located place. Nicest I saw in Pahrump.
Try eating at El Jeffe's for good reasonable Mexican and if you like good sushi...try Ohjah.....beautifully decorated and some of the best sushi ever( and I am from Hawaii.) Food at the motel is good.
Have fun and don't be nervous.....much anyway......these guys take great care of you!!!!!
The Pilottis are a good investment......heel toe downshifting ( which they will show you is not really heel toe but more of rolling your foot to the throttle for downshifting while braking ) will come quickly with their teaching techniques!
