Kevin, as hard as I try to picture this happening, it just doesn't seem possible. Here is my leg in normal seated driving position and it is not in proximity to the door button, at least where I could ever accidentally open the door.

Of course, if this is a 'beef' to you, sorry.

basically you can't have any food or drink in the car. My wife thought she would bring a large bag of M&M's on our recent trip. Once she saw my expression she said "I forgot they would melt before we get out of the neighborhood"
These cars are blast furnaces

NO....but I KNOW for a fact it will fit....somehow.....I'm a genius so I can make anything fit anywhere.

I built my own spare tire rack in the hatch area....removeble top still fits.....and still have room to mount the 6-point roll bar from RSD next year....and still have access to my relocated battery in the trunk, which I recently put in, with no issues at all.

GM should hire me to fix everything for them....I am available in Jan 2012 for hire.

I do not like the publicity the car gets. I understand why the car garners so much attention, but I would rather fly under the radar if possible.

I LOVE my car. My only two MINOR gripes are:

The side mirrors drip water for hours after washing it.

The rear hatch does not have a handle to close it. Have to put your hands on the top of the hatch to push shut.

Like I said, these are minor issues.

Like most posts I am absolutely in love with my Vette. The only room for improvement I can see is the Bluetooth / Radio / Navigation system. The system Ford uses on my Lincoln MKS is truly amazing and I wish I could swap it out on my Vette.

Who are you? Why do you care? Are you asking because you want to buy one? Are you asking just to hear some whining?

No car is perfect nor will there be a perfect car but if you like it, it really doesn't matter now does it.

I tie a rag around both mirrors to where it hangs down to keep it from dripping when I get done drying it.

Thanks Jim. I've been wondering the same thing with this posted by a noob with only a few posts and no 'vette. I was playing nice and hoping he is interested in one although he did not state that.

Regards.

Seats
Lack of support for performance driving, and poor quality of materials. America's premier sports car should have seats that are both comfortable AND hold you in place.

Steering wheel
Still looks like it came out of a Cobalt. . . .

OnStar / XM Radio
OnStar box on the front windshield.
Get the XM Radio antennas out of the sideview mirrors. My 2002 Sunfire has better XM reception!
