Default Yellow Corvettes

I'm rather partial to black, silver and reds on Corvettes
but I've noticed the yellow C6's out on the road really look
good! The other day I saw a new, very clean, GS in yellow
heading the other way on the Interstate and it stood out.
Very impressive even from a distance.

I agree. They stand out almost as much as Torch Red...

Yellow is very eye catching, the only downside I can think of is that the paint doesn't seem to accomplish that "deep" "wet" paint look, possibly because of how bright it is when you look at it in any sunlight. ?

Velocity Yellow does look very nice. My prior Vert was yellow. Resale is a little tough though because of the more limited number of people wanting yellow but in my opinion it's one of the best colors. Very forgiving with showing dirt too....

Just gave up my '06 yellow Z51, 3LT with nav for a grey '10 3 LT . The car drives better, feels smoother, shifts much FASTER, but it's NOT YELLOW.

After several coats of Zaino Z5 pro followed with equal coats of Z6 I have achieved that deep wet look on my 2010 VY.

The biggest problem I've noticed so far with Yellow is it attracts bugs like crazy and there is little black specs of crap on the car from them when I get home from work each day lol.

Oh yeah, the cops do seem to spot me right away too but other than no front plate I'm typically within the law. Not like they could catch me anyway lol

I'll have to agree that the yellow ones are attractive and definitely *POP* out at you, even when mixed in traffic. It is without a doubt the most attention getting colour for the C6. I always thought red was, but red is a pretty common colour on lots of cars, trucks and even public service vehicles (Firetrucks, rescue, etc).

A yellow car though, especially a yellow vette screams look at me. Rather night or day you cant ignore it. Its still a little too much attention for me, but I can definitely appreciate and understand why so many people have them. FWIW.. the Yellow Z06 is probably my favourite vette so far.

I used to do a lot of custom painting so I am very biased about colors "for me"
Hands down a clean pearl orange is my favorite with yellow second. I went to the dealer last week to see in person the inferno orange. It was a cloudy day "of course" and all they had it in was a camero. To much red in it for me, but the sunlight pictures I have seen look better.
They had a yellow GS..ooh ya..that's the one!

My VY really pops and I only use Rejex. It is a daily driver but I keep it spotless with very little effort. I have chrome OEM wheels with the 4" tipped Magnaflow cat back exhaust. I get more positive compliments on this C6 than any other Corvette I have ever owned, including red, white & blue ZR-1's! I honestly do not expect to have any difficulty selling it if and when the time comes. The VY was one of the extra cost colors, $750 extra.

I like yellow. It doesn't blend into the traffic.

I'm still happy with my machine silver but if I were ordering a new one today it'd be a yellow coupe. Love that color.

I drove to Sacramento Raceway on Friday.. then to Santa Rosa a day later. I swear I can't see anything out of my windshield, and I officially have the first bug colored front bumper now. It's so easy to tell when a bug hits yellow..
