Save the Wave. It should be written in the owner's manual.:
In a way it is. My 2011 car came with a DVD in the glove compartment from GM. It covered all the basics: starting the car, seat belts, targa top, rear hatch, radio operation, etc. Most importantly, it covered the wave.
GM clearly recommends the wave as part of the car's standard operating procedure. If you incapable of performing the wave, you're obviously not able to operate the vehicle in a manner as prescribed by the manufacturer!
I wave at all Vettes I see- even when I'm in my F-350 Dually. So if you're ever in the Atlanta area and some goof in a big black truck waves at you- that'd be me!
Last week I did a 1200 road trip through TN & NC..... got a solid 90% return wave only saw 11 vettes along the way worst yet I saw 13,638 mustangs! But only 3 nice ones
I find myself waving at vettes while in my truck too! Nobody has waved back
I got my first wave during my 16th birthday drive in a red 1980 Vette. Had to wait several years to get my own little red corvette, but I love the wave every time. Makes me feel like a little kid sharing the excitement of owning this toy.
