How does the blendmount mount onto the mirror? Also, it calls for auto dimming versus manual dimming mirror. Which does the 2LT option car have? I thought all Vettes had auto dimming?

Our V1 is mounted with suction cups. Just put them in hot water for a couple of minutes before leaving the cups wet, then mounting, let dry before hanging the V1

The bracket mounts between the mirror stem and the windshield. It's very strong and puts no weight on the mirror itself. If there's any play at all in your mirror stem it will actually stiffen it up because of the way it wedges in.

You can use a dab of olive oil on suction cups.
However I just installed a blend mount in my vert today I love it fantastic product they really did their homework also powered with 8 in. Invisi cord perfect setup for 9500ix
