Wow!
Hi Guys,
Thought I would give you an update. For those that don't remember my wife made me sell my dream car so she could be happier and her and I could go on nice vacations. Well, I just found out the reason she was being a B like that is because she is having an affair.
So it looks like I won't be able to buy a 2012 CE just yet. Is anyone familiar with divorce law in CO. If I finance the whole thing can she take the car and stick me with the payments?

That's why you never give up your happiness to try and make someone else happy. If she doesn't know that you know yet then play nice and get a P.I. and evidence. This will help you along the way. Sorry about your circumstances.

When I got divorced after I discovered of my ex wife's affair, first thing I did was trade the brand new Volvo I bought her for my vette!! If she has no idea you know, hire an investigator, get pics, phone records.... Anything to help you in the judge's eye!

first of all if your heading to divorce court i would buy any cars at the moment.
also if you have a joint checking account, stop putting your money in there ASAP and empty it. whatever valuables you have put them in storage... do this ASAP
the woman can make up all sorts of stories and have you locked out of your house and take all hour stuff and money, better cover your ASK!

I sympathize with you, man. Keep your cool and get out of this thing unscathed if you can. I had all kinds of proof about my ex's infidelity, but in today's justice system, the B can still get half of everything if you don't play your cards right. Get a good lawyer and get her out of your life. Good luck.

Being a no fault state. Fight for everything tooth and nail. Wear her down or make trades for ????. If she is being a complete **** about it, let the courts decide where the 'even' break is. DO NOT give up more than your share. Been there, done it... x2. I gave my ex just about everything she wanted IN the house. I kept the house. Then sold it for twice the price I bought it for (during the market balloon). You can start over with the little things, and do it your way. Good luck to you bud. Keep your head on straight and you will come out better in the long run.

I car is just a car, it can be replaced with a better one any day of the week. A good woman, is hard to find! Hopefully, the next one will be better than the one you are getting rid of! (woman that is)

I guess I didn't give enough background. I've suspected things now for about 4 months. We were seeing a counsoler, but nothing was changing,(wonder why!). So it really really sucks, but there is nothing I can do. The corvette is my hobby. I have nothing else to do this summer, so why not?
